What would your life be like without any permanent connections?

Welcome to the base camp for JUST LIKE ME; a reality docu-drama currently in production starring Darryl 'DMC' McDaniels and other celebrities as they mentor foster youth from the DC and NY area. This series attempts to affect change on the reality of foster care for youth just entering in, and those on the verge of aging out.

We have captured some 30 hours of content thus far and are now currently knee-deep in production mode for the next 6-7 months. Working with foster youth in our nation's capital and New York, we will offer a story that is rarely ever told. What you think you know about the foster care system is about to change...

We will be offering behind-the-scenes content and vaulted footage of our celebrities who have grown up in the foster care system and/or adopted as they mentor these youth who still hope that one day, they will have a family of their own. Online content integrated this month allows for you to see the work that a few do for a mass of many many MANY amazing personalities of young adults and children forging ahead, making a name for themselves. We integrate opportunity with education and allow for these stories to be documented in a way they never have...

There are fabulous organizations that work diligently for these children living in the foster care system including Foster Care Central, Orphan.org, and the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute. We'd love to connect with you, converge, and join forces, and hear about the marvelous work you are indefatigably doing.
